Beautiful Emerson AX-235 radio known as the 'Little Miracle' in Warm Yellow Catalin with Black trim. Made in 1938 by Emerson Radio + Television is Emerson's first example of a small Catalin radio that also features a unique louvered insert grill. The cabinet is a warm medium yellow with marbleizing + transparency that really adds depth to the cabinet. The yellow is brought out with its contrasting black louvered grill + knobs. The radio is in original, untouched condition, and is just a great example of this Emerson 'Little Miracle' model; it's not often that you find a yellow example without a tube burn or crack. The cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. This models fragile black plastic grill + knobs which, are prone to deterioration, are original + good condition showing only some mild warp and wear on the grill.
