Baby Addison A2 in Marbled Navy Blue + White Art Deco Bakelite Radio
Beautifully Marbleized 1940's Art Deco Design
Baby Addison A2 in Marbleized Navy Blue with Creamy White trim Bakelite / Plaskon Tube Radio made circa 1940 by Addison Industries Limited in Canada. The unique styling, bold use of color, and dramatic marbleizing would make this radio a truly beautiful addition to any collection. This stylized Art Deco radio features the famous "waterfall" speaker grill trim and surround "bumpers" with speed-lines that really make for a streamlined radio design. If you are looking for a great addition to your collection, please consider this beauty. This particular example is a stunning radio in excellent original condition with no chips, dings, scratches, or repairs on the cabinet. The creamy white Plaskon trim is complete and factory original to the radio and has no chips, burns or repairs. The original matching marbleized knobs are also perfect. The chassis seems complete and still has its original color coordinated dial scale. The dial plastic is original and in great condition with very little yellowing and clear. Emerson Model 411 "Mickey Mouse" Rare Original Disney Painted Version
Seldom Seen all Original 78 Year Old Disney Mickey Tube Radio in Great Condition
Beautiful early 1934 original painted version of the Emerson Model 411 Repwood "Mickey Mouse" Radio. The model 411 was 1 in a series of 4 "Mickey Mouse" novelty sets the Emerson manufactures under license from the Disney Corporation. The 4 panels on the radio are made of Repwood or pressed wood and have hand carved and painted figures. This original and complete Mickey Mouse radio is just incredible and in wonderful condition for a 78 year old radio.
