Manufactured in 1940 by Motorola Radio also known to collectors as the "Circle Grill" is a magnificent, exquisitely crafted Art Deco radio. This Motorola design is considered one of the most appealing sets of its time beautifully designed in the Art Deco Style. The details are unique with its round catalin speaker bezel, scalloped handle, and hexagonal knobs. The cabinet features streamlined ridges that stretch around the case bringing all the elements together. The golden dial face is also decorated with deco numerals and sunburst designs that emanate from a red plastic dial pointer with the letter "M" cast in to it. The catalin has a deep shine that makes its rich color glow and shows off exceptionally striking, clear, white with shades of blue swirls. This color of Motorola is prone to fading with age + losing the beautiful color this example has not faded and has to be absolutely the best example turquoise 50XC I have seen. Radio has been polished back to its original turquoise blue color from it's oxidized green. Rarely seen Namco model 601 Catalin Radio in marbleized butterscotch with original translucent ivory tenite knobs. Manufactured by N.M.Co. NYC, this mid to late 1930's is among the rarest of the catalin radios to be found. This relatively small catalin radio has unique design details such as deep horizontal grooves/louvers that travel around the entire radio and a carved curved handle. This radio is as close to perfect as one can be found as this model radio is often found heavily damaged due to the manufacturing process/grooves. This is one of the best examples with the least damage, also one of the best original and un-repaired example that I have seen in 30+yrs. No other radios compare in style to this model in design and very few catalin radio are as rare to find. Catalin Art Deco New Haven Desk Clock in Butterscotch enhanced by marbled swirls of yellow and green giving it beautiful depth. Clock face is framed in thick swirled housing that is slightly inclined resting on a thick catalin base. These New Haven clocks were marketed as "Catalin Clocks in Smart New Designs". This beautiful clock retains a nice sheen to the catalin case and base with no cracks, chips or repairs. Silver clock face, surround beveled glass is original and in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. Measures approximately: 4.25" high by 3.25" wide, by 1.75" deep. Clock is sold "as-is + untested", missing second-hand, mechanism appears complete. If you wish to use it daily, it is recommended you have a qualified professional service it as it may need lubrication and calibration.

Radio has no cracks, chips, burns or repairs to the catalin case. Dial face, brass dial bezel, brass back plate, movement are original and in nice condition with only a small amount of wear consistent with age and use. Measures approximately: 3" by 3.5" by 1.25" deep. Clock ticks when wound, do not know if it keeps time. Remarkable Onyx Green Catalin Emerson model 564 'Slot-Grill'. This is a magnificent small Art Deco radio that features a vertical slide rule dial + a series of symmetrical grill cut-outs. Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corp, out of New York, manufactured this small Catalin radio in 1940. The catalin has a beautiful gloss and is just a stunning example of this Emerson model that is highlighted by the faint reddish, yellow and lighter onyx green swirls. This beautiful set is in great condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. The maroon catalin knobs are original to the radio. The radio retains its original reverse painted dial plastic and reddish/maroon textured grill cloth both in excellent condition. Cardboard back panel is still present and in nice condition. This is truly a remarkable radio in excellent condition. Water-slide decal is a correct replacement. Radio has small scratches consistent with age + careful use. This radio measures approximately: 7" wide by 5.12" high by 3.75" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete.
