Highly Marbleized Green Geddes Designed Aristocrat

Ref: RA1126

Highly swirled translucent Green Catalin Emerson 'Aristocrat' Radio model 400 designed in 1940 by industrial designer Norman Bel Geddes. The green catalin has beautiful heavy brown and yellow marbleizing that makes this radio stand out and glow when light shines on it.....this is a beautiful color combination for this model.

The beautiful green catalin cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. This model's fragile ivory and brown tenite/plastic grill is original and in great condition with only some minor signs of age/use. The brown bakelite knobs and handle are original to the radio and also free of damage. The Emerson decal is original but can be replaced before shipping and dial plastic is a correct replacement. Radio has been well taken care of and only shows some fine scratches consistent with age + careful use. This radio is absolutely stunning and would make a fantastic addition to a radio collection.

Radio measures approximately: 10.75" wide by 7.25" high by 5.50" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
