Seldom Seen Knight Branded Sonora

Ref: RA1081

Seldom seen 1941 Knight "Coronet" KM in butterscotch with mint green Catalin radio. This is the only Catalin radio produced by Allied Radio Corp. and branded "KNIGHT" with an embossed gold foil tag affixed to the front of the cabinet.  The "Knight" branded Catalin radios are rarely found. This example has the rare original pastel colored trim which you do not often see. The contrast in color makes for a great Art Deco radio.

This scarce catalin radio has no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs to cabinet or original trim. The radios pastel mint green front faceplate, knobs and handle are original to the radio and makes for a nice contrast in color.  Radio has the original brass embossed tag, light green center dial pointer, mesh grill cloth and back panel.  Dial plastic and water-slide decal are correct replacements. Radio has small scratches consistent with age + use of set. This radio is absolutely stunning and would make a fantastic addition to a collection.

Radio measures approximately: 9" wide by 5.5" wide by 5.25" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
