American Streamline Catalin Motorola Radio Model
This stunning marbleized tortoise shell Catalin case with translucent dark amber trim Catalin Motorola Model 50XC-4 is a magnificent, exquisitely crafted Art Deco radio. Manufactured in 1940 by Motorola Radio also known to collectors as the "Circle Grill". This Motorola design is considered one of the most appealing sets of its time beautifully designed in the Art Deco Style. The details are unique with its round Catalin speaker bezel, scalloped handle, and hexagonal knobs. The cabinet features streamlined ridges that stretch around the case bringing all the elements together. The golden dial face is also decorated with deco numerals and sunburst designs that emanate from a red plastic dial pointer with the letter "M" cast in to it. The Catalin has a deep shine that makes its rich color glow and show off exceptionally striking, deep and colorful, yellow + orange marbleizing. This radio's beautiful Catalin cabinet is in original condition with no cracks chips, tube burns, or repairs. The radio retains its original Translucent Amber Catalin trim. The knobs + handle are in perfect condition. The grill cloth is original to the radio and has no tears or stains and has only a small amount of wear. Beautiful and Rare Chinese Red Plaskon Kadette "Jewel" Model 44 with a marbled Tenite Art Deco grill insert. This tube radio was manufactured in 1935 by the International Radio Corp. in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This set is considered a midget sized table radio model. The stepped design with molded ridges and the Art Deco geometric designed Tenite grill insert make this radio a standout. This combination of plastics and cabinet style make it very popular and sought after by collectors. This radio is in original, untouched condition, with a beautiful and natural gloss. It is just a superb example of this Deco radio, see photos. The Bakelite case and trim have no cracks, chips, burns or repairs. Art Deco Red Saunders Pyrex Glass "Silver Streak" Iron
Machine Age Saunders "Silver Streak" Pyrex Glass Electric Iron in incredible bright Red. This iron was produced in 1945 by Corning Glass (Pyrex) of New York and Saunders Machine & Tool Company for a short amount of time during World War II. This iron is in great original condition, with no chips or blemishes to the glass. The red paint/coating is also in great original condition with only barely discernible wear more like some tiny air bubble looking area on the left side that you have to turn the iron under a just the right angle/light to see (looks to be factory not from use). The name Silver Streak is stamped on the chrome end plate along with Saunders since 1858, Model 1038, 1000 watts, 110-20 volts a.c. only, see photos. The cord does show some fading, use/fraying consistent with careful light use and age. Iron measures approximately 4" Wide x 9" Long and is 5.75" high

Art Deco Shyvers Multiphone Jukebox Selector - Incredible Skyscraper Design
Rare Empire State Building Shyvers Jukebox Selector
Seldom seen Art Deco Shyvers "Multiphone" jukebox selector in cast aluminum this spectacular piece has a strong resemblance to the Empire State Building. The 1935 Shyvers Multiphone was invented by Ken Shyvers, who is also credited for inventing the pinball machine. The strong Art Deco architectural lines make for a stunning display item. The Multiphone was a music selection device that operated over telephone lines mostly in Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia, Washington from 1939 to 1959. These units were typically placed on tables, counters or bars. A patron could deposit a coin and speak with a telephone operator standing at a turntable at the Central Music studio, who would then play a selection in the speaker at the bottom of the Multiphone. These units became popular because they had a record range of 170 whereas jukeboxes only had a record range of 20-48. This unit is in great original condition and is complete with the red faceted “jewels”+ red grill cloth. The unit has the original lock and key to access the coin mechanism. Unit is in great condition for its age it has some scuffs + mold marks consistent with the molding process and years of use. The unit has a low serial number #602 on top casting making this an early production model. This stately Art Deco piece of coin-op history measures 17” high. Striking Art Deco cobalt blue mirror radio model 557 designed by Walter Dorwin Teague for the Sparks-Worthington Company from Jackson, Michigan in 1936. The radio, known as the "sled" or "3-knob" is a considered to be one of the best examples of Deco Streamline style. The radio features cobalt blue mirrors on the front, top and left side, with contrasting ebony lacquer finish and 5 chromed bands or "speed lines". The asymmetric, geometric shapes and accent designs are distinctively art deco in appearance. Radio is in great condition and is free of chips, or cracks to the original mirrors. Mirrors are original and look beautiful, with only minor scratches and oxidation consistent with age + use. Wood "sled" base has original ebony lacquer in nice original condition with some of the crystalline finish still visible. Chrome is original with only minor pitting.
