Incredibly Marbleized Sand with Yellow DeWald Catalin

Bright Catalin DeWald model A-502 'Step-Top' insert grill model in a beautifully marbleized Sand cabinet with yellow trim. Manufactured in 1939 by DeWald Radio Mfg Corp, out of New York is a magnificent, exquisitely crafted Art Deco radio.

The catalin cabinet has a rich bright color, and glow combined with striking yellow and brown marbleizing. The beautiful radio is just a great example of this DeWald model.

This cabinet is in great condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. The yellow pinwheel knobs and insert grill are original to the radio and are perfect. The DeWald dark brown and red reverse painted curved dial glass is original and in excellent condition. Cardboard back panel and manufacturers sticker are still present. This is truly a remarkable radio in excellent condition.

This radio measures approximately: 9.75" wide by 6.5" high by 5.75" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
