Great Marbleized Red Kadette Clockette

Radio is absolutely striking + seldom found in this color. Shown here is a Kadette 'Clockette' K27 Catalin Radio in bright marbleized red. The Clockette with its elegant cube design, etched grooves that wrap around and its distinctive 'clock ' style brass dial bezel is unlike any other catalin radio. This radio's marbleized cabinet has yellow swirls and different shades of red. The radio is in original, untouched condition, and is just a great example of this Kadette 'Clockette' model.

The bright red catalin radio cabinet has an incredible gloss. Radio cabinet has no chips or repairs; however it does have a small hairline crack on the bottom back screw hole and a mild tube burn common to the Kadette Clockette model. The two red catalin front knobs, rear red catalin knob and yellow pilot light jewel are perfect and original to the radio and damage free. Radio retains the manufacturers sticker affixed to the bottom. Brass dial bezel and pointer are original to the radio and exhibit some signs of age. Water-slide decal is a correct replacement. Radio has small scratches, scuffs consistent with age + use of set. This radio is absolutely striking and it would make a fantastic addition to a radio collection.

Radio measures approximately: 7" wide by 7" high by 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete; dial string does not work. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
