RCA 9TX 'Little Nipper' Catalin Radio in Heavily Marbelized Green - Stunning

Striking highly marbled Green RCA Catalin 9-TX 'Little Nipper II' Radio. This Art Deco model is unusual with its grooves that wrap-around cabinet. The Brazilian green onyx catalin cabinet is heavily marbleized with tones of green, yellow, and brown that add depth to the catalin cabinet. The design of this model has been attributed to industrial designer John Vassos one of the designers for RCA. The small size of this radio combined with the great color and contrasting trim really makes for a stunning Art Deco radio.

Radio cabinet has been hand polished and has an incredible gloss to it. Cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. Ivory knobs, water-clide decal and back panel are original to the radio.  This is a crisp example that was well taken care and it would make a great addition to any radio or Art Deco collection.

Radio measures approximately: 8.5" wide by 5.25" high by 4" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
