Beautiful plaskon Addison Radio 2 'Waterfall' tube radio in raspberry (not maroon) with ivory trim made circa 1940 by Addison Industries Limited in Canada. Collectors consider this striking color combination to be a rare find. This stylized Art Deco radio features the famous 'waterfall' speaker grill trim and surround 'bumpers' with speed-lines that really make for a streamlined radio design. This particular raspberry example is a stunning radio in excellent original condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs to the cabinet. The ivory Plaskon trim is complete and factory original to the radio and has no chips, burns or repairs; has one small hairline that is not easy to detect on the upper left corner of the waterfall trim. The original knobs are also perfect. Radio retains the original back panel and the dial plastic is a correct replacement.

Radio measures approximately 10.25" wide x 6" high x 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
