Beautiful translucent Onyx Green FADA 'Bullet' Radio Catalin Streamliner Model Fada 1000, untouched original example is retains a beautiful gloss to the catalin. This radio styling epitomizes 1940's Streamline design with its sleek rounded lines that suggest speed and practicality, hallmarks of streamlined industrial design from those years. FADA produced many radios and televisions over the years, but its Catalin radios, particularly the "Bullet" are the best-known models. This radio is as clean as one can be found and would truly make a great addition to any radio or Deco collection.

The beautiful onyx green catalin cabinet and trim has clear + light yellow marbleizing and a beautiful transparency. This onyx FADA 1000 has no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. Matching onyx green dial ring, fluted knobs and handle are original to the radio and in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, breaks, burns or repairs. The beautiful Art Deco gold 'Gemloid' dial face is bright and has no paint wear. Radio retains the original cardboard back panel and gold grill cloth. The dial plastic cover is a correct replacement.  This radio is as clean as one can be found and would truly make a great addition to any radio or Deco collection.

Radio measures approximately: 10.25" Wide by 5.5" Deep by 6.5" High. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
