Stunning and Vibrant Emerson BT-245 Catalin 'Tombstone' radio from 1938 in marbleized lapis lazuli blue cabinet. This radio is absolutely stunning + seldom found in this color. The lapis lazuli blue Catalin cabinet is marbleized with some tones of white, clear + blue that adds depth to an already beautiful radio. The rich deep color is brought out even more with its contrasting ivory louvered grill + knobs. The tombstone design of this radio combined with the great color combo really makes for a stunning Art Deco radio. Not a radio that comes up often  

The glossy Catalin cabinet is perfect with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. Radio has been cut/polished back to its factory original bright blue color with a great glossy finish. This models fragile plastic grill and knobs, which are prone to deterioration, have been replaced with correct replacements. Water-slide decal and dial plastic are also correct replacements. Has small scratches consistent with age and use. This radio is as clean as one can be found and would truly make a great addition to any radio or Deco collection.

Radio measures approximately: 7" wide by 10" high by 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete and appears to have been gone through. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
