Stunning + Rare Example of a Blue Highly Swirled FADA Catalin 652 Temple

Ref: RA1037

Rare and Beautiful FADA 652 'Temple' Catalin radio in stunning blue + butterscotch with incredible marbleizing.  The green patina this radio has taken on is beautiful - radio has only been lightly polished to a high gloss.  The cabinet has oxidized over the years to a perfect greenish-blue with veins of yellow with tones of green running through it that makes this an incredible example. The model 652 was part of the 1940-1942 radio lineup.

The glossy Catalin cabinet is perfect with no cracks, chips or repairs and has beautiful intense marbleizing that really adds depth to the cabinet. Radio has original butterscotch trim, early gold fabric grill cloth, bottom foil label and back panel. Reverse painted dial glass is original and in great condition. This is truly an incredible radio that would make a great addition to any collection. Radio can be restored back to the original bright Lapis-Lazuli blue if desired.

Radio measures approximately: 10.85" wide by 6.75" high by 5.75" deep.  This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
