Garod 1450 'Peak-Top' Catalin radio in a beautiful plum with yellow marbleized trim. The catalin cabinet is a bright translucent plum unlike other radios and its deep shine makes its rich color glow and shows off the exceptionally striking yellow catalin trim. The radio is in original, untouched condition, and is just a stunning example of this Garod model. This model radio is seldom seen in colors other than all butterscotch and in this fine of a condition.

This beautiful set is in great condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs to the catalin cabinet or trim. The knobs, grill and handle are original to the radio and also free of any defects. The radio retains its original textured gold grill cloth with small signs of age and wear. Dial plastic is a correct replacements. This is truly a remarkable radio in excellent condition.
