Fada 711 'Dip-Top' Catalin Radio Lapis Lazuli Blue + White

Rare and desirable lapis-lazuli blue 1946 Fada 711 "Dip-Top" Catalin radio - the last of the Catalin models made by Fada Radio. The Catalin case has spectacular marbleizing and has been cut/polished back to its original color of bright lapis-lazuli blue.

This radio has no chips, cracks, tube burns or repairs to the catalin case. The ivory marbled knobs + handle are original and also free f any damage. The bright and colorful Fada sunburst dial face is also in great original condition with only slight wear. Dial plastic is a correct replacement and gold grill mesh has been re-flocked back to its original state.

Radio measures approximately: 9.75" wide x 5.75" high x 4.5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
