Stunning + Rare Example of a FADA Model 252 Temple

Ref: RA886

Beautiful Pre-War FADA 'Temple' Catalin Model 252 in marbleized alabaster(white) with bright red marbleized trim. The 252 Series was part of the 1940-1941 FADA radio lineup.  The 252 Series has large gumdrop knobs, different dial glass, 3 grooves that run around the radio + the early style gold patterned grill cloth. The bright red gumdrop knobs and dial surround add contrast and style to this stunning example of a FADA Temple model.

The glossy alabaster catalin cabinet is highlighted by beautiful clear + whiter marbleizing that really adds depth to the cabinet.  The cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips tube burns or repairs. Radio has been cut/polished back to its factory original alabaster color. The bright red catalin dial surround and large gumdrop knobs are original and correct to the radio. Radio retains it's original 252 dial glass and masonite back panel. This radio is as clean as one can be found and would truly make a great addition to any radio or Deco collection.

Radio measures approximately: 10.85" wide by 6.75" high by 5.75" deep.  This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
