Emerson Little Miracle in Striking Color Combo

Ref: RA384

Emerson AX-235 Radio "Little-Miracle" in marbleized green catalin with ivory trim. This Art Deco radio by Emerson Radio + Television is Emerson's first example of a small Catalin table radio that also features a unique louvered insert grill. The rare highly marbleized green or "Brazilian Onyx" as referred by Emerson retains its original factory gloss. The green Catalin cabinet is heavily marbleized with tones of green, yellow, clear and brown that add depth to an already beautiful radio.  The small size of this radio combined with the great color and contrasting trim really makes for a stunning Art Deco radio.

The green swirled cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, tube burns or repairs. Radio cabinet has on the inside top right back rail (back panel retaining hole) a very small chip that can not be seen when displayed This models fragile plastic ivory grill + knobs which are prone to deterioration have been replaced with color correct replacements. Radio retains the original manufactures label on the bottom of cabinet. Dial plastic and decal are correct replacements.

Radio measures approximately: 8.75" wide by 5.25" high by 3.75" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
