Beautiful Yellow Marbleized Catalin 1937 Emerson AU-190 Radio

Intensely marbleized Catalin AU-190 Emerson Tombstone radio from 1937 in butterscotch with brown swirls or Mexican Onyx as referred to by Emerson at the time. The butterscotch catalin cabinet is beautifully marbleized with brown, yellow + clear that add depth to an already beautiful radio. The radio is in original, untouched condition, and is just a great example of this seldom seen color Emerson 'Tombstone' model.

Radio cabinet has been hand polished to an beautiful gloss. Radio cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. Gold fabric grill cloth is original to the radio and in good condition. The 3 matching catalin knobs are perfect and also original to the radio. Gold Gemloid dial is bright is in great condition. Dial plastic and water-slide decal are correct replacements. Radio has small scratches consistent with age + use of set. This radio is absolutely stunning and would make a fantastic addition to a collection.

Radio measures approximately: 7" wide by 10" high by 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete; cord is cut. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
