Bright Green Emerson AX-235 Radio 'Little Miracle' Catalin Radio

Beautiful Bright Green Marbleized Emerson Little Miracle

Ref: RA1124

Marbleized Bright Green and Ivory Emerson AX-235 radio known as the 'Little Miracle'. The 1938 Emerson AX-235 Radio 'Little-Miracle' by Emerson Radio + Television is Emerson's first example of a small Catalin table radio that also features a unique louvered insert grill. This scarce bright green or 'Brazilian Onyx' as Emerson referred to, is nicely marbleized with tones of green, yellow, clear and brown that add depth to an already beautiful radio. The small size of this radio combined with the great color and contrasting ivory trim really makes for a stunning Art Deco radio.

The beautifully marbleized + bright green cabinet has no cracks, tube burns or repairs and is absolutely stunning; it does have one small chip on the inside of cabinet where back panel would attached. This models fragile plastic ivory grill + knobs which are usually prone to deterioration are original to the radio and in incredible condition.  Radio retains a partial original manufactures label on the bottom of cabinet.  Dial plastic and decal are correct replacements. Has small scratches consistent with age and use. This radio is absolutely beautiful and would make a fantastic addition to a collection.

Radio measures approximately: 8.85" wide by 5.25" high by 3.75" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
