Great re-creation of the original 1938 Sparton 409-GL blue mirror radio store display. Please see the original ad showing this piece, it is made like the original shown in the 1938 Sparton sales brochure. This store display was made in the 1990's by a Sparton radio collector. These display's were given to the Sparton dealers in 1938 to showcase the radio to increase sales. The display Consists of a black painted wooden base to showcase the radio with graphics printed on archival matt-board.

The text on the 1938 advertisement reads the following: "This stunningly beautiful display unit shown above is given free to all Sparton dealers.  The display lends itself to dramatic use in show window or store, and it has the power of creating sales because it glorifies the smartest radio yet to reach the market"

This is a a great way to display your highly sought after Art Deco Sparton 409-GL "7-Sided" radio. Has some minor signs of age and use.
