Sonora Radio

Sonora Radio Sonora Radio + Television Corp of Chicago, Illinois started off as a clock maker which somehow led to phonographs and finally to radios.  As radio manufacturers they mad numerous style radio in wood, Bakelite and one Catalin model the Coronet KM.  The 1941 Coronet KM was available in 3 color combinations:  Alabaster/Onyx Green, Alabaster/Plum and Alabaster/Pastel Blue.  Today they are all quite difficult to find and are highly regarded by collectors.

Some Coronets were sold to Allied Radio Corp and branded "KNIGHT" with a gold foil logo affixed to the front of the cabinet.  These "Knight" branded radios are rarely found.
