Stunning Green Marbleized Catalin 1937 Emerson AU-190 Radio

Catalin Emerson AU-190 radio from 1937 in a highly marbleized green cabinet or Brazilian Onyx as Emerson referred to it. This radio is absolutely stunning. The green Catalin cabinet is heavily marbleized with tones of green, yellow, clear and brown that add depth to an already beautiful radio.

Radio cabinet has been hand polished and has an incredible gloss. Radio cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, tube burns or repairs. Radio has very two small chips on the inside of the cabinet at the rear bottom back panel retaining screw holes that do not detract from the rarity of this radio as they can not be seen when displayed. Gold fabric grill cloth is original to the radio and in great condition with no holes or fading and only small signs of age. The 3 Catalin knobs are perfect and original to the radio. Water-slide decal, dial plastic, and cardboard back are correct replacements.

Radio measures approximately: 7" wide by 10" high by 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
