Stunning Catalin Bakelite "Cigarette" Box in marbleized Bright Red with Carved Cigarette.  This box with it's figural hand carved Catalin cigarette on the lid is one of the rarest boxes to find. This box is one of only a few boxes featured in both the "The Bakelite Jewelry Book" by Davidov + Dawes on page 65 and "The Bakelite Collection" by Matthew L. Burkholz.

The bright red Catalin has a deep shine, rich color, glow and also has exceptionally striking yellow marbleizing taht only add to the beauty of this desirable box.  This box is in original, untouched perfect condition, and is just a stunning example of this style.
