Vintage Art Deco black and chrome edition of the famous RCA Type 74B "Junior Velocity" Microphone first introduced in 1935. This Art Deco bi-directional ribbon microphone is in very clean original condition and is the early version with the two RCA buttons rather than the embossed logo built into the body found on the later models.

The microphone has some normal wear/corrosion to the black paint from age. There are no dings on the chrome windscreen and the silk screen is visible. The chrome on the windscreens is in great condition with very little corrosion or pitting. The ball and socket joint which permits rotation or tilting at any angle shows very little signs of vise use and holds the microphone at angle well.

This mic would make a nice addition to any microphone or Art Deco collection.

The cable on this item has been cut and therefore this vintage microphone is "untested" and is being sold "as-is".
