Catalin Bakelite box in pistachio green with brown + purple swirls with black accents. Beautiful large seldom seen large Art Deco octagon shaped is an incredible powder box is a rare find. This box is one of only a few Catalin boxes featured in "The Bakelite Jewelry Book" by Davidov + Dawes on page 65. and considered by many collectors to be the epitome of a catalin box collection. The fluted base sitting on 4 black Catalin cube feet sloping up to faceted sides finished off with a lid that has a large "cube" handle resting on a black catalin octagon base. The large size combined with the different design elements used on this box make it unique and rare. Powder box is all-original and retains a beautiful factory gloss and has no cracks, chips or repairs. Measures approximately: 5" high by 5" round at base.

Rare set of figural "Mushroom" catalin shakers sitting on a bright green catalin leaf tray.  Made is West Germany in the 1940s this set of shakers is among the top shakers you can have in your collection. Consisting of two beautiful figural red mushrooms with yellow bases and silver applied dots sitting on a marbleized green leaf tray. The bright red Catalin tops have a deep shine, rich color and glow. Both mushroom shakers are in great condition with no cracks, hairlines or chips and show only slight wear to applied silver dots. Green marbleized leaf is in perfect condition and marked West Germany on the underside. Large mushroom does not unsrew and I do not want to force it. Tray measure approximately: 6" long and large mushroom shaker is 2.5" high and smaller mushroom is 2" high.

Rare Virgin Gold Catalin Bakelite "Dice" Clock

New Haven "Dice" clock in bright-marbleized virgin gold catalin bakelite with inset black dots. This 1930's small wind-up desk clock is stunning in color referred to as virgin gold or canary yellow marbleized by the manufacturer. The clock has been polished back to its original color and is absolutely incredible + bright. This is the only one in this color combination that I have come across. Clock face with its great Art Deco numerals and design is original + in great condition with only small signs of age and use. Clock has no cracks, hairlines, or repairs, and is currently working. Silver metal dial surround has a few small dings consistent with age and use. Bottom of clock has a small discoloration as seen in last photo. Measures approximately: 2.75" square by 2.5" deep. Catalin Barrel Shaped Red + Yellow Laminated New Haven Art Deco Clock

Great Art Deco 1930's small barrel shaped laminated Catalin marbleized in a bright butterscotch and red New Haven wind-up desk clock. Clock case has no cracks, burns, or repairs and is currently working. Yellow ring has on the left one tiny stress line caused by the glue used to laminate the clock from the factory. This little blemish can hardly be seen and does not detract from this rare and beautiful little Bakelite clock. Clock face with its great Art Deco numerals and design is original and in good condition. Brass chrome bezel surround, ball feet, have only a small amount of corrosion that can be polished and is consistent with age. Beautiful and incredibly marbleized sand colored case and brown trim Catalin DeWald model A-501 "Lyre" is a magnificent, exquisitely crafted Art Deco radio.  Manufactured circa 1940s by DeWald Radio Mfg Corp, out of New York.  This stunning model has to be one of the most musically inspired radio designs and because of this has become known to collectors as the "Lyre" or "Harp" DeWald. The Catalin has a deep shine, rich color and glow and also has exceptionally striking yellow, orange + brown colorful marbleizing.  The radio is in original, untouched condition, and is just a stunning example of this DeWald model. This beautiful set is in great condition with no chips, tube burns or repairs. Cabinet has one hairline crack coming off of the right rear screw-hole going to the back of the cabinet  - this in no way detracts from the beauty of this radio as it can only be seen when looking closely. The brown pinwheel knobs are original and still have the original felt washers behind them to protect the cabinet. The radio retains its original reverse painted curved dial glass also in excellent condition and the gold herringbone pattern grill cloth shows only a small amount of wear. Catalin DeWald 561 'Jewel or Outline-Grill" Radio in butterscotch with raspberry trim.  One of only 3 Catalin radios ever manufactured by DeWald and made in 1939. The butterscotch Catalin has a deep shine + original factory gloss, rich color and glow, which, is highlighted with the contrasting bright raspberry trim. The design of this radio while boxy has numerous Art Deco elements such as the outline grill surrounding the grill slits, semi-circle handle and fluted knobs. This is an uncommon DeWald model to find in any color combination. Radio cabinet has no cracks, chips, hairlines, tube burns or repairs. In 27 years of collecting this is the only one in this color combination that I have owned and only the 4th one I have seen. This radio is about as rare as it gets in the Catalin genre. The butterscotch Catalin has a deep shine + original factory gloss, rich color and glow, which, is highlighted with the contrasting blue(patina to green) trim.
