Stunning RCA 9TX "Little Nipper" Catalin Radio in Heavily Marbelized Green

Beautiful highly marbled Green RCA Catalin 9-TX5 "Little Nipper II" Radio. This Art Deco model is unusual with its grooves that wrap-around cabinet. The Brazilian green onyx catalin cabinet is heavily marbleized with tones of green, yellow, and brown that add depth to the luscious catalin cabinet. The design of this model has been attributed to industrial designer John Vassos one of the designers for RCA. The small size of this radio combined with the great color and contrasting trim really makes for a stunning Art Deco radio.

Radio cabinet has been hand polished and has an incredible gloss to it. Cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs.  Ivory knobs are original to the set. Water-slide decal is a correct replacement.

Radio measures approximately: 8.5" wide by 5.25" high by 4" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
