FADA 1000 Radio Catalin 'Bullet' in Alabaster with Onyx/Pea-Green marbleized trim. This beautiful original Art Deco FADA "Bullet" is as clean as one can be found and would truly make a great addition to any radio or Deco collection.  This radio's styling epitomizes 1940's Streamline design with its sleek rounded lines that suggest speed and practicality, hallmarks of streamlined industrial design from those years. FADA produced many radios and televisions over the years, but its catalin radios, particularly the "Bullet" is the best-known model.

The beautiful alabaster catalin cabinet has faint white + clear marbleizing and a beautiful transparency. The onyx/pea-green trim adds contrast and style to this stunning example of a FADA Bullet Streamliner model. This alabaster + onyx FADA 1000 is in great condition with no crack, chips or repairs.  The onyx/pea-green catalin dial ring, fluted knobs and handle are original and also in great condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. The beautiful Art Deco "Gemloid" dial face is has no paint wear and only a slight warp. The Deco "Gemloid" dial face is bright and in great condition. Radio retains the original cardboard back panel, early style gold grill cloth in great condition. Clear dial plastic cover is a replacement.

Radio measures approximately: 10.25" Wide by 5.5" Deep by 6.5" High. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
