Catalin Art Deco 1938 Emerson AX-235 Radio "Little-Miracle" by Emerson Radio + Television and is Emerson's first example of a small Catalin table radio that also features a unique louvered insert grill. The rare highly marbleized green or "Brazilian Onyx" as Emerson referred to it retains the original factory gloss. The green Catalin cabinet is heavily marbleized with tones of green, yellow, clear and brown that add depth to an already beautiful radio.  The small size of this radio combined with the great color and contrasting trim really makes for a stunning Art Deco radio.

Emerson "Stradivarius" Model CH-256 from 1939 Emerson "Stradivarius" model CH-256 in Maple has to be one of the most beautiful Ingraham cabinets made. The radio's elegant violin shape, sounding cutouts and grille bars that resemble the strings of a violin are unlike any other radio. Here is your chance to add this fine example of this "D" dial Emerson to your collection.

Radio has been cosmetically restored back to its original beauty. The radio was a very clean example prior to restoration, and it had no missing or chipped veneers or the wrap around inlays. This highly marbleized + bright red Catalin is a one owner radio that has been meticulously taken care of and is perfect. The Orange grill and black knobs are original to the radio.  The Jet Black cabinet was professionally repaired by Dan Blake over 18yrs ago and has been in my personal collection since.  Repairs can only been seen when looking for them or looking at inside of cabinet. This models fragile plastic grill & knobs which are prone to deterioration are original and in good condition showing only a very mild warp, deterioration + shrinkage on the grill.  Original black knobs are perfect.  Water-slide decal + dial plastic are correct replacements.

This beautiful and incredibly marbleized oxblood red Catalin Emerson model 564 "Slot-Grill" is a magnificent Art Deco radio that features and vertical slide rule dial + a series of symmetrical grill cut-outs.  This small Catalin radio was manufactured in 1940 by Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corp, out of New York.

The Catalin has a deep shine, rich color + glow combined with exceptionally striking colorful yellow and orange marbleizing that looks like veins of fire running through the cabinet.  The radio is in original, untouched condition, and is just a stunning example of this Emerson model.

This beautiful set is in in great condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. The matching oxblood knobs are original to the radio. The radio retains its original reverse painted dial plastic also in excellent condition and the bright gold textured grill cloth in excellent condition. Great Gold + Black Swirls

Retro Raymond Loewy Designed Emerson 511 in Pistachio Green Plaskon with great gold marbling made in 1947. The radio is also refereed to as the "Moderne" and is a highly collectible eye-catching radio. The design is credited to famous industrial designer Raymond Loewy, the designer of Deco locomotives, Studebakers, and many well-known corporate logos. The radio features a design unlike any other.

The clear plastic bubble dial cover floats over the gold painted metallic grill, which covers much of the front. The dial cover is anchored to the cabinet at its top by a block of ivory Plaskon, whose back has a recess for the pilot light. When you turn on the radio, the illuminated block sheds a soft light over the dial, a beautiful effect in a darkened room. Radio has a cleverly designed molded handle on the top that also served to ventilate the set, as this set is closed on all sides and is designed to be viewed from all angles.

The radio is in original, untouched condition, with a beautiful and natural gloss and is just a great example of this Raymond Loewy Emerson radio. The beautiful and brightly colored marbleized pistachio green Plaskon Bakelite cabinet is in great original condition, with no chips, major cracks, burns or repairs. All the case has are two very small hairlines. These hairlines in no way detract from the beauty of this set. The fist hairline can be seen to the left of the logo by speaker grill, a common area for this set to have a hairline. The second is a small 3/4" brownish line in the left side of the radio towards the bottom that can barely be seen even when looking for it. The original plastic dial bubble has a small amount of warpage and yellowing, normal for this model. The gold painted metal perforated mesh grill has a few small areas of oxidation/wear. Radio retains the original ivory Plaskon knobs and manufacturers sticker on the bottom and inside of case.
