Stunning + Rare Example of a Blue Highly Swirled FADA Catalin 652 Temple

Ref: RA352

FADA 652 'Temple' Catalin radio in stunning incredibly marbleized lapis-lazuli blue with butterscotch trim. The bright blue cabinet has veins of white with tones of blue and clear running through it that makes this an incredible example. The model 652 was part of the 1940-1942 radio lineup.

This rare Catalin radio has no chips, repairs, or tube burns; however it does have one small hairline on the bottom rear left screw hole.  This does not detract from the beauty and rarity of the radio as it is on the bottom and can not bee seen when displayed.  Radio has original butterscotch trim, gold fabric grill cloth, and back panel. Reverse painted dial glass is an exact replacement for the original one that is often damaged on this model. This is truly an incredible radio that would make a great addition to any collection.

Radio measures approximately: 10.85" wide by 6.75" high by 5.75" deep.  This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
