Rare and Perfect FADA 1000 Catalin Radio in Translucent Onyx

Stunning Art Deco FADA "Bullet" Streamliner Model 1000 in translucent Onyx and Butterscotch Catalin. This radio styling epitomizes 1940's Streamline design with its sleek rounded lines that suggest speed and practicality, hallmarks of streamlined industrial design from those years. FADA produced many radios and televisions over the years, but its Catalin radios, particularly the "Bullet" are the best-known models.

Onyx cabinet has faint dark brown + orange marbleizing and a beautiful transparency with the butterscotch trim, which, adds contrast and style to this stunning example of a FADA Bullet Streamliner model. This onyx and yellow FADA 1000 has no cracks, chips, nicks, repairs, or tube burns. Radio has original trim, early gold fabric grill cloth, bottom foil label and back panel.

Radio measures approximately: 10.25" Wide by 5.5" Deep by 6.5" High. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
