Great Set of Whimsical "Mushroom" Bakelite Salt Shakers

Rare set of figural "Mushroom" catalin shakers sitting on a bright green catalin leaf tray.  Made is West Germany in the 1940s this set of shakers is among the top shakers you can have in your collection. Consisting of two beautiful figural red mushrooms with yellow bases and silver applied dots sitting on a marbleized green leaf tray.

The bright red Catalin tops have a deep shine, rich color and glow. Both mushroom shakers are in great condition with no cracks, hairlines or chips and show only slight wear to applied silver dots. Green marbleized leaf is in perfect condition and marked West Germany on the underside. Large mushroom does not unsrew and I do not want to force it.

Tray measure approximately: 6" long and large mushroom shaker is 2.5" high and smaller mushroom is 2" high.
