Great Catalin Art Deco jewelry/powder box in rich marbleized butterscotch + black accents is a rare find taht would make a spledid addition to any Bakelite collection. This box is one of only a few Catalin boxes featured in The Bakelite Jewelry Book by Davidov + Dawes on page 65.

This design of this hand carved Art Deco circular box is simple + elegant and highlighted by its two-tone color scheme. The fluted + carved base sitting on 3 black lacquered wood ball feet with an over-sized round black finial makes for different design elements that make the box rare and unique.

Powder box is all original and retains a beautiful factory gloss and has no cracks, chips or repairs.
