Beautiful Biomorphic Cloud Gilbert Rohde Occasional Table

Rare Gilbert Rohde Paldao Group biomorphic occasional table on tapered leatherette wrapped legs with brass nailhead detail. Made by the Herman Miller Company c. 1941. The table top is book matched veneer in with the edges veneered in exotic Paldao wood from the Philippines.

Table is in original condition with minor scuffs consistent with age and careful use.

Measures approximately: 27.25" high by 27" long by 22.5 wide

The design with the thick heavy slats supported by black lacquered sculptural steel rod legs is absolutely stunning. This beautiful slat bench or coffee table is model 400 in Knoll catalogs.The rich color of the wood on the slats is striking.

Bench/Coffee Table has been refinished lovingly and is ready to use or display. Retains original Knoll paper sticker on the bottom.

Beautiful Curved Shapes with Speed-Lines

Original pair of 1940's blond mahogany occasional tables with elegant curved bell legs designed by Paul Frankl for the Brown-Saltman Company.

Each with a rectangular top over flared bell legs with 3 "Speed-Line" details under top. Stamped on the underside of the surface "MFG. By Brown-Saltman Co., Southgate, California, 8088 End Table". This table model is pictured in Emily Genauer's 1939 book 'Modern Interiors, Today and Tomorrow'.

Tables have been refinished and are ready to be displayed/used. Each table measures 28" wide by 16" wide by 22.5" high.
