Solid Honduras Mahogany Electric Clock Manufactured by the Herman Miller Clock Company

Ref: CL105

Gilbert Rohde designed Art Deco Solid Honduras Mahogany electric clock model # 4723-A manufactured by the Herman Miller Clock Company ca. 1933.

Strong Art Deco elements are at the very heart of this model's design. The half sphere hour markers, teardrop hour hand, and a red second hand heighten the appeal of this rare clock. This is a truly striking design. Eleven of the hour markers are nickel-plated and the one at the 12 o'clock position is brass adding to the design and are original to the clock.

The condition of this clock can only be described as near mint. Wood case has been refinished and looks great with a beautiful lustre. Wedge shaped clock base the original black paint. The clock is fitted with an alarm and a starter wheel that is in working condition at this time. Cloth covered power cord has been replaced and is long.

This table clock measures approximately: 5.5" high by 4.75" wide by 2.5" deep. If you wish to use clock daily, it is recommended you have a qualified professional service it, as it may need lubrication and calibration.
