Considered to be the Rarest Color Combination

Ref: RA353

Baby Addison 2 in Green Plaskon Tube Radio made circa 1940 by Addison Industries Limited in Canada. Collectors consider this color combination to be the rarest. The unique styling + bold use of color would make this radio a truly beautiful addition to any collection.

This stylized Art Deco radio features the famous "waterfall" speaker grill trim and surround "bumpers" with speed-lines that really make for a streamlined radio design. If you are looking for a great addition to your collection, please consider this beauty.

This particular example is a stunning radio in excellent original condition with no chips, dings, scratches, or repairs to the cabinet.  The green plaskon trim is complete and factory original to the radio and has no chips, burns or repairs. The dark green catalin knobs are original to the set and also perfect.  The fragile plaskon cabinet and trim have a few small hairlines that are a common occurrence on Plaskon radios. In no way do these detract from this rare radio.  Radio retains the original burnt orange and green painted dial face and back panel. The dial plastic is a correct replacement.

Radio measures approximately 10.25" wide x 6" high x 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
